The Scottish AI Alliance is delighted to announce its new Governance Group who will focus on future planning whilst at the same time providing strategic oversight on delivery. 

As the Scottish AI Alliance nears the end of its five-year period, it is necessary to make a shift towards planning for the future beyond 2026 whilst ensuring we deliver on the objectives. We would like to thank our 2021-2024 Leadership Group for all their work and support over the past three years.

The Governance Group now consists of:

• Angus Allan - Senior Product Manager at CreateFuture

• Yunhyong Kim - Lecturer in the School of Humanities, University of Glasgow

• Linzi Penman - Partner at DLA Piper

• Verena Rieser - Senior Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind

• Michael Boniface - Chief Operating Officer at Kythera.AI

Chair of the Scottish AI Alliance Catriona Campbell said:

Tom Wilkinson, Chief Data Officer at the Scottish Government and one of SAIA’s Senior Responsible Officers, said of the group:
