Peter was medically retired from the PSA, Civil Service Construction Department at Faslane Submarine Base, as a Contracts/Projects Manager, and then studied BSc Computer Networking. Peter has been a member of the Health & Social Care ALLIANCE's Digital Citizens Panel for a few years, and has studied AI in Health and Social Care with various institutions.

Since studying technology and AI, I have an interest in the progression of AI as I find the subject very interesting and important as it will impact on every aspect of all of our lives in the future. AI will help in the advancement of all of the sciences, health, arts and every aspect of our daily living through the use of technology.

AI will affect and change the lives of everyone within Scottish Communities through health and care, a more streamlined education system, implementing smart cities to ease with congestion and better transport links. Helping with the running of Government and Councils through more streamlined administration. AI will also help produce better budding design and enhance artistic output.

AI could minimise the need for employment of people in some areas. There are also ethical concerns of the use of AI being biased and causing or reinforcing produce in the development process of building training modules. There are also concerns regarding security and data privacy of individuals and organisations being kept safe and secure.
